Innovating for the new normal: Experiences from around the world

This webinar focuses on how ADI’s member associations from around the world have been innovating and adapting to a COVID-19 world.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact organisations, institutions, agencies and companies around the world, forcing them to adjust their modes of operation to comply with social distancing measures and to ensure the safety of their employees, volunteers and constituents, this webinar sought to highlight the crucial work of its member associations in continuing to support people with dementia and their carers, who are especially vulnerable during the crisis. We hear how ADI’s member associations from around the world have innovated to adapt and reinvent their support services during and throughout 2020 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, and the impact this has had on carers and people living with dementia.

This webinar was an opportunity for a more in-depth discussion and updates with our members from around the world, including China, the Netherlands, Turkey, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Uruguay and the US. Key speakers shared details of how their associations have been adapting and innovating their services and supports for people living with dementia, and what impact this has had within their communities.
