Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI)
Statement submitted by Paola Barbarino, CEO of ADI, in respect of item 3.1, ‘Draft thirteenth general programme of work 2019-2023′ at the 142nd Session of the World Health Organization (WHO) Executive Board.
The statement calls for explicit inclusion of dementia in the WHO programme of work, in order that dementia may continue to be prioritised nationally and globally.
The global plan aims to improve the lives of people with dementia, their families and the people who care for them, while decreasing the impact of dementia on communities and countries. Read More
