About ADI’s 2025 End of Year Forecast
Hosted in collaboration with Edelman, ADI’s annual End of Year Forecast is a pivotal event that welcomes globally renowned experts to a live broadcast, reaching a worldwide audience to discuss the latest scientific perspectives and insights into dementia innovation; most recently on topics such as treatments and diagnostics.
For 2025, ADI shone a light on the ‘diagnostics revolution’, posing the question: ‘Are we ready?’. The event featured a conversation between the internationally renowned cognitive neurologist and Medical Director at the Banner Sun Health Research Institute, Dr Alireza Atri, and ADI CEO Paola Barbarino, as they explored this vital topic.
Dementia diagnosis has reached a pivotal turning point: after decades of research, reliable tools for earlier and more accurate detection of Alzheimer’s pathology are emerging alongside the first disease-modifying therapies. The central challenge, however, is translating these advances into routine clinical practice worldwide. The End of Year Forecast stressed that this phase requires not only ongoing innovation in biomarkers and treatments, but also reshaping diagnostic pathways, workforce capacity, and policy frameworks to ensure these tools reach people living with dementia and their families promptly and equitably.
Hosted in partnership with Edelman, the event had a full-house for in-person attendees in London and 1,400 virtual participants.
