This online event, titled ‘Dementia Diagnosis – Getting it Right’, is targeted at professionals across Qatar and Oman, and will focus on the importance of diagnosis and the role of memory clinics.
Excerpts from the National Dementia Guideline on Essentials in Diagnosis will be discussed, highlighting the need to follow standards in evaluation and management across the 3 major disciplines of Geriatrics, Psychiatry and Neurology. The event will also look to address challenges in diagnosis, focussing on the related condition of delirium. Two complex clinical scenarios will also be presented, to enhance the clinical understanding of diagnosis for physicians across all disciplines.
The event will take place on Zoom on Wednesday 8 September from 7 to 8.30pm (Qatar time).
