To commemorate World Alzheimer’s Month, Alzheimer’s Pakistan will organise a Seminar on Alzheimer’s Disease & related Dementias in collaboration with the University of Central Punjab and the Beaconhouse National University. This event will take place on 21 September 2021 at 11am (Pakistan time).
The speakers will highlight dementia as a health priority. The seminar will provide an overview of dementia, its prevalence in Pakistan, diagnosis and treatment options, stigma and psychosocial issues. Moreover, participants will also be informed about Alzheimer’s Pakistan & its services.
The Health Minister will be the chief guest at the Lahore Seminar.
In addition, 3 similar seminars will be organized in Karachi, Rawalpindi and Peshawar.
