Madagascar Alzheimer Masoandro Mody was founded by Yollande Rason-Andriamaro in 1993 and has been a member of ADI since 2018.
The association is based in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
The association has acquired 2 hectares of federal land, where they plan to build a senior and PLWD day care centre, with a dementia-friendly environment and design. They are currently looking for funding and partnership for this dream project. In the meantime, they organise some of their events on the site, such as a successful Memory Walk to celebrate the association’s 25th anniversary.
Some of the services provided by the association include:
- Caregiver meetings
- Counselling
- Day Care
- Dementia Care Training
- Newsletter
- Resources (fact sheets, reading materials)
