“Nezabutni” Charitable Foundation is a Ukrainian Alzheimer’s Association, founded and registered in Ukraine in 2021, and has been a member of ADI since 2024.
“Nezabutni” is a Ukrainian word for “Unforgettable”. The logo of the NGP is a pink forget-me-not flower.
The association covers all around Ukraine. The headquarters are located in Kyiv.
“Nezabutni” works to ensure that people with dementia and their caregivers have access to the quality care they need and feel supported by society, and that Ukrainians are aware of dementia and engage in its prevention.
Some of the services provided by the foundation include:
- Advocacy
- Help to people with dementia: Caregiver support groups, Psychological support for people with dementia and caregivers, Helpline, Legal support
- Educational events: Training for carers “School of care”, Seminars/Webinars/Workshops, Resources (fact sheets, reading materials)
- Awareness raising and dementia friendly initiatives: “Nezabutni” cafés (memory cafes), media campaigns
- Social research
