Hong Kong Alzheimer’s Disease Association

The Hong Kong Alzheimer’s Disease Association was founded in 1995 and has been a member of ADI since 1996.

The association is based in Hong Kong SAR, China and includes a Brain Health Centre, the Jean Wei Centre, the Tseung Kwan O Integrated Service Centre and the Gene Hwa Lee Centre.

The organisation is proud of being the first organisation specialised in providing services to people living with dementia and their families in Hong Kong, and taking reference of the Traditional Chinese Confucian’s “Rites, Music, Archery, Charioteering, Literacy and Numeracy” to establish the multi-intellectual cognitive stimulating model of “6-Arts ®. They have also engaged the Social Welfare Department of the Hong Kong Government to implement a dementia friendly community campaign in all districts of Hong Kong over the past 3 years.
