The Georgian Alzheimer’s Association was founded by Nona Mindiashvili, Natia Shavdia, Amiran Giguashvili, Manana Sharashidze and Imad Mckoul in 2018 and joined ADI as a member in 2021.
The association is based Tbilisi, Georgia.
Each year during World Alzheimer’s Month, the group appears on TV1’s ‘Private Doctor’ programme to speak about dementia and raise awareness throughout the country.
