Dementia Australia is the national peak body supporting people living with dementia, their families and carers, and has been a member of ADI since 1985.
An estimated 433,300 Australians live with dementia and 1.7 million people are involved in their care. Dementia is the leading cause of death in Australia, yet it remains a challenging, misunderstood and stigmatised condition nationwide.
We respond to this challenge with trusted information, education and support services.
We are here to support people impacted by dementia and enable them to live as well as possible.
For information, support or advice in Australia, we encourage people to contact the National Dementia Helpline on 1800 100 500 or visit dementia.org.au/helpline
