Demensförbundet

Demensförbundet was founded in 1984 by a steering group composed of caregivers and professional staff and has been a member of ADI since 2024.

The main office is based in Stockholm, Sweden, with 104 branches across the country.

They also care for people who are dealing with dementia right now. They provide support and information on their website. People dealing with dementia and their families can also contact their helpline.

Demensförbundet enables research into the causes of dementia and prevention, cure, diagnostics and treatment of dementia. They have already invested over 6,2 million euros through their foundation Demensfonden.

Demensförbundet is also member of Alzheimer Europe.
