This documentary will aim to bring more awareness to the region and better understanding to families who are caring for persons at home and in institutions, hopefully with the intention that government will also take notice due to the aging societies in the Caribbean region.
Doctors, caregivers, heads of other associations from the region will be invited to participate. Additionally, Alzheimer’s Disease International will add their support to the documentary by giving a global perspective of the disease.
The documentary will either last one hour or be broken into segments of half an hour.
This documentary will hopefully fill the void from the association’s usual yearly seminars, which normally attract 200 people.
