Alzheimer Austria has been a member of ADI since 1993. The umbrella organisation Demenz Selbsthilfe Austria was created in 2021, as the federation of and for self-help groups, supported self-help groups and self-help organizations (SHO) in the field of dementia from three federal states (Vienna, Styria, Tyrol), and become the official member of ADI in 2023.
Demenz Selbsthilfe Austria is also a member of Alzheimer Europe.
